• Promoting person-centered medicine, which takes into account the psychological, physical, social and spiritual aspects of health and illness

• Promoting the connection between medicine and art in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases as well as in the education of healthcare professionals and the general public

What activities do we engage in?

• Encouraging and organizing regular meetings and courses for the continuous education of health professionals in the field of the Institute's activities

• Organizing congresses, symposia, workshops and lectures in cooperation with related domestic and international societies and eminent experts, and thus involving them in world events in the fields of the Institute's activities

• Celebrating important dates related to health

• Participating in national and international congresses, study stays in foreign university centers and other forms of professional cooperation with abroad

• Designing and implementing independent scientific and professional projects and joint national and international scientific and professional projects

• Organizing the stay of foreign experts in Croatia; Informing the public through the media about diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic possibilities as well as ethical dilemmas in medicine and health

• Encouraging the introduction of person-centered medicine and the importance of a health culture in undergraduate and postgraduate education at universities and polytechnics

• Counseling experts and laypeople on the possibilities of dealing with various medical problems and possible risk factors and improving the quality of life through organizing forums, individual and group counseling, publishing various materials, using various media (television, radio, newspapers, internal, film, theater, music, audiovisual arts, etc.)

• Establishing centers that deal with individual areas of the Institute's work

• Organizing humanitarian actions, in accordance with the Law
